Shopping in St Annes is a pleasant way to pass a few hours. There are plenty of facilities and the town centre is just a short walk from the beach, promenade and pier.

The stores are arranged side-by-side in a compact town centre making it a short walk from one store to the next.

National names and local independents are interspaced with plenty of cafes and bars.

There’s ample seating along the high street where you can sit awhile before continuing on your shopping mission.

Shopping in St Annes

St Annes town centre is centered around St Annes Road West and the small grid of surrounding streets. The shopping area is bordered by the seafront and promenade, and the beautiful Ashton Gardens.

There are plenty of high street names, including both Sainsbury’s and Aldi supermarkets plus a Tesco Express on the high street. Boots, New Look, M&Co, and similar.

You’ll also find plenty of local independent stores. The side streets off St Annes Road West are lined with them and pretty much most things are on sale here. There are boutiques and clothes shops for all the family, along with food outlets, gift shops and homewares.

St Annes Road West is a wide and attractive centre to the town. It’s landscaped on both sides with town centre gardens, shelters, beds and public seating areas.

Each year, the centre of town bursts into colour through the hard work of the St Annes In Bloom team. Hanging baskets appear and flower beds are transformed into amazing displays of colourful blooms.

Facilities for you when Shopping in St Annes

There’s pay and display car parking along one side of St Annes Road West, and more next to the Pier. Plus, there’s an NCP car park opposite Ashton Gardens.
